Sevalaya is a NGO providing education and training to poor, destitute and orphan children in a village in Tamil Nadu, India. Started 19 years ago, 250 children and adults are living on-site and 450+ students are attending school daily. Many more utilize medical services.
The energy need of Sevalaya’s campus is threatening Sevalaya’s long-term financial stability.
By installing a cost-effective and carbon-neutral integrated renewable energy system the annual energy cost will be reduced by 60%.
